Whether it’s striving to comply with election law, helping voters register, or streamlining business licensing, the secretary of state’s job is to set the record straight and ensure Montanans’ confidence in the process.
But after the 2006 election raised concerns about vote security and late-registration policies, the question is, just how far has election reform come and where should it go?

Don't forget Sieglinde Sharbono running under the Constitution Party ticket for the office of Secretary of State. Upholding the U.S. Constitution will be a priority for Sharbono and if elected she will NOT certify incumbents who have violated their oaths of office under Article III, section 3 of the Montana State Constitution. And if elected SOS, Sharbono would eliminate electronic counting of ballots in Montana to prevent computer hackers from tampering with the results.
